The Mont-Orford Golf Course, meticulously maintained and located at the heart of the National Park, is one of the most scenic golf courses in Quebec. The beauty of this 72-par course lies in its natural valleys and streams and gorgeous landscape that stretches far into the horizon.

Due to the course’s hilly terrain, the use of golf carts is recommended. Nature lovers and regular users will greatly enjoy the hike through the course and seeing the various animals that call it their home.

    Hole 1

    This long par-4 requires an excellent drive, preferably aimed towards the left of the trees. The approach is slightly downhill, so you should consider the real distance when choosing your clubs.

    Hole 2

    Aim your tee shot slightly to the left of the white and red stakes before the uphill approach, with one more club, on the back of this soft green.

    Hole 3

    The soft green of this hole accepts balls very well, so make sure to aim your shot towards the flag.

    Hole 4

    Make sure to hit a straight 175-yard tee shot and avoid going over the trees so you don’t go out-of-bounds on this 90° left dogleg. Take an extra club for your approach on this rather hard green.

    Hole 5

    A precise left to right drive is ideal for this right dogleg hole. The green slopes to the right.

    Hole 6

    On this hole, everything slopes to the right, so it’s best to favor the left side of the green.

    Hole 7

    Long hitters should aim their drive slightly to the right: after 200 yards, everything slopes to the left. The green accepts balls well. Stick to the right side to avoid the sand traps.

    Hole 8

    For this hole, you need a precise 200-yard tee shot with a left to right cut. Long hitters should leave their driver in their bags. The green is soft, so make sure you aim for the flag in order to have uphill putts.

    Hole 9

    For this drive, target the clubhouse. For your second shot, aim a little left of the clubhouse and let the slope redirect your ball towards the center of the fairway. The green here is rather hard, so its best to plan an approach shot towards the beginning of the green and favor the right side.

    Hole 10

    This first drive of the day offers plenty of space to begin. Make sure to aim your second shot towards the right of the big cedars, where the soft green accepts balls easily.

    Hole 11

    This hole offers lots of room to the left, so it’s best to avoid aiming your tee shot too far right. The green and the front of the green are rather hard, so land your approach shot on the front of the green or before the green.

    Hole 12

    For this short hole, you need a precise first shot. The green accepts the balls very well, but uphill putts always break to the left.

    Hole 13

    Make sure to favor the right side of the green and take one club less for this downhill shot.

  • Trous siteweb 14

    Hole 14

    Aim your tee shot towards the red and white stakes to avoid the water on the right side. The rest of the fairway slopes to the right, so be sure to aim to the left. Add an extra 10 yards to your approach on this elevated green. Remember that uphill putts always break from left to right.

  • Trous siteweb 15

    Hole 15

    Long hitters will reach the upper fairway, but others should favor a shorter tee shot on the lower fairway as opposed to on the hill. Make sure you’re on the back half of this very undulating green.

  • Trous siteweb 16

    Hole 16

    This is a very tight dogleg that requires wisdom and precision. Make sure to hit a 200 -yard tee shot before the pines, which will safely lead you to the very soft green. Take an extra club for the uphill approach.

  • Trous siteweb 17

    Hole 17

    Long hitters can try to cross the second brook. Others should hit a safe 150-yard shot between the two brooks before approaching the green with precision. Plan one or two extra clubs for this uphill approach.

  • Trous siteweb 18

    Hole 18

    This uphill hole is the most difficult hole of the course. Bring extra clubs and favor the front of the green. The green is very sloped, so always remain below the hole.
